COVID Update: Free Access to Widgit Online Symbol Materials Creator 0

Responding to the COVID crisis, Widgit is offering free and unrestricted access to Widgit Online and it’s ready-made materials for 30 days.  Parents and teachers at home will be able to create for printing or reading outloud on iPads, Chromebooks or PC's, symbolized visual schedules, calendars, communication boards, worksheets, stories and more.  All with Canadian symbolized vocabulary, in French too!

Once the first snow falls, use this symbolized rule sheet and vocabulary in your classroom for a safe and inclusive play outside. They are absolutely free, and available in French! 

The 4 Winter Rules for a playground and accompanying vocab sheet was created with Widgit Online and will come in handy for any winter activity you have planned. We tried to make this little resource as relevant as possible to most school playgrounds so there’s only 4 key rules. The vocab sheet could be used for newcomers, in a supported classroom or early grades.

Boardmaker V6 will no longer be available or be supported for Mac and MacOS. For those who were considering buying Boardmaker or have purchased one in the past, keep in mind that the software can still be installed via CD. If your machines do not have a CD-ROM, you can consider other options we have available.
